National Reference Laboratory for Residues of Banned Substances

Our National Reference Laboratory (NRL) conducts residual analyses of prohibited substances in biological matrices of animal origin and feed. The accredited methods applied are listed in  Accreditation  section.

The NRL is an official laboratory for providing residue analyses within National Residue Control Plan according to Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on Official Controls (former Council Directive 96/23/EC) in cooperation with State Veterinary Administration of Czech Republic.

The analytical techniques used in our laboratory (GC-MS a LC-MS/MS) and methods validated according to Commission Decision 2002/657/EC fulfil the EU requirements for unambiguous and reliable results for official control purposes.
